135i bumper on 128i

Hi everyone, i currently have a 2011 128i (not face-lifted). Just wondering if the 135i bumper would fit on my car if i dont take out the fog light on my car. cuz i see theres space on the 135 bumper for the 128i fog light area. So wondering if it would fit bolt on.

Thanks!

you can find the bumper from a 128 M-Sport. Its a 135 bumper with foglight holes.

Yea i noticed this might be an option too, but the dealer in Toronto said its gona be very complicated and price might go over $1500 cuz there are alot of new parts i need to purchase on top. they said i need new fog light housing also alot of extra parts. thats why I wanted to find out if it would just fit perfectly by just putting on the 135 bumper onto my car with the available space.

you can do that but you would lose your foglights. Im sure you could make it bolt in, but youll have to put in some work to make it look clean

over 1500 seems a lot. Have you tried asking how much it would cost from dan @unitebdmwonline?

Alright, i will try asking them. i was just figuring if the 135 would just fit on 128 without taking the foglight out since i see there's space on the 135 bumper at the foglight area. LOL

Just did a bit of the opposite and reworked my M-Sport 128i bumper. Tossed the fog lights and their mounts for weight savings and replaced them with the 135i oil cooler ducting. Fogs were useless anyways.

Now it has much more of a 1M look without the stupid 128i mesh.

Also, 128i fog lights won't mount in the 135i bumper, the mounting points are different. Had to fab an aluminum mounting bracket up to get the 135i oil cooler ducting to mount properly.

As soon as Apex releases the EC-7 and I get them with PSSs that will be at the top of the list. The stock M-Sport boat anchors with run flats are just terrible.

I had a bumper replaced on my E90...with labor and supplies (paint) it came to about 1300 USD....so I would say that is in the ball park.

Are those M-sport rims tough to clean?
