330xi wheel/tire options

My dealer said Sept. 1 first production - order in July. If you look above, e90post has posted the official Dealer Product Info Guide (90 pages) which is full of interesting stuff. It shows the wheel combos for the xis even though there is no pricing on them yet. The 159s are the wheels on the 330xis unless you get sport pkg, in which case you get sport seats and wheel only (no sport suspension) and you get the 158s as the 330xi sport wheels, which are 17 inch.

A new option is to go for the sport 162 18 inch wheels AND you get the perf. summer tires, same as the 330i, but you have to get the sport pkg first to do this. However, you'd have to get snow tires anyway if you do this option. Again, no pricing yet, but for comparison purposes, the 530xi's sport pkg is $600, the 530xi is $2200 more than the 530i (I'd' expect the 330xi to only be about $2000 more then than the 330i) and the 530xi 18 inch sport wheels/tires combo is only a $700 upgrade.

So, I'd guess that the 330xi would be about $2000 more than the 330i, and sport pkg would be less than $1000 (bc you still get 17 inch wheels, all seasons and no sport suspension). The wheel/tire upgrade to the 162s would likely be another $600-700 if on top of that (again, since no sport suspension included). But, going this latter route will req. snow shoes.

Wildcat Jon: Did your dealer have any info on the 325xi TOURING with regard to wheel/tire options? My assumption right now is that the info on the 325xi in the Product Info Guide (which is excellent - better than the brochure the dealer hands out) also applies to the Touring. But, who knows, they could offer different wheel tire combos on the wagon - I'm not sure if BMW does that (like Audi does)........
