E82 With Double Din Radio
Hi,
I thought it was impossible to make such an installation in an E82 model due the size of the console... however after some research I have decided to go foward with the installation. The original central panel was disassembled and the panel with the PDC/Start-Stop Buttons has passed to the lights panel near to the rear central mirror. They made a fiberglass mask for the central panel where they fit the double din radio and the AC, then this mask was painted by professionals to mach exactly the same black colour of the car interiors. At the end I think that final job is perfect, and now, the central panel is much more "fresh" than the standard one. The radio is an Kenwood DNX9240BT with rear camera. Here are the pictures: Comments are welcome! Thanks

Hi,
the 2 buttons on the first pic are to turn on/off the PDC and the Start/Stop functions. The European version do have these options, in the USA doesnt have? The mod was made here in Portugal by Equipolarcar. If you want to check their website you can check it here: http://online.equipolarcar.com/catalog/ Check their fantastic portfolio! The price was 300€ for the fiberglass mask and the installation. Thanks! Edit: As you can see in the picture on the link, these buttons were on the bottom of the central panel. http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/6889/dsc00110cw3.jpg

Hi, Man, really...I had to read your comment twice because I just couldn’t believe what you wrote. Aren’t you ashamed of not knowing the origins of your own country? Cristovão Colombo (or Cristopher Columbus to help you remind your history lessons) is Portuguese and he found America in 1942. If you knew your history, you would know that Portuguese were the first to sail and discover new lands. Cristovão Colombo was sailing in Spanish boats, but he was Portuguese, not Spanish! I will post better pictures with better light later on...Thanks!
