I got myself the performance aero bumper and am looking for alternatives for my front license plate.
I'm leaning towards a tow hook mount license plate mount. I've searched the forum and haven't been able to find any pictures of the performance bumper with a tow hook mount license plate and was wondering if anyone had one available for reference.

No front plate here in SoCal either. Haven't had one for about 28 years and never been hassled for it.
California is a two plate state, btw. I like to live dangerously. lol |

I'm using the one that attaches to the lower grill, I didn't like the look of the off center tow hook. I'm very happy with the it --
https://carbonio.com/products/bmw-fr...nt-msport-cell The off center look is kinda... childish to me. |

Edit: just looked at their website and the plate can be dropped nearly below the bumper.

I've got a tow hook license plate mount on the front of mine because there was no way I was going to drill the bumper for a plate. I actually bought two slightly different designs on eBay and combined the parts to make one that suited me. I can remove it with one turn of a Heyco wrench that I store in the trunk, where I keep the tow hook cover in a small baggy.

I actually like the asymmetry of the tow hook mount.

That Carbonio one does look really nice, but it relies on some pretty weak grill plastic. Last month, my first thought for a centered plate holder was to try and make my own for that spot... then I decided I didn't want something that'd impede airflow. But mounting my BMWCCA grill badge, I decided that lower honeycomb is so lightweight, it might get cracked if a big enough bug hit it wrong. A 3" grill badge at the solid-plastic margin seemed like as much as I'd want to stress it with.
