Hexon hybrids

are there many people running these?
obviously cheaper than RB's.......is this because you're getting a 'lesser' product?

Is there somewhere better than EBay that you can buy them? If not thats warning sign number 1.

They don't seem to even have their own website. Googling "Hexon turbo" only gives results on Ebay, Youtube, and various forums.

They were brought up in another thread.

Vargas replied on another forum that they seem to be similar to earlier betas of Vargas and RB's hybrids with an insufficiently sized turbine. It's still larger than stock, though.

So the top and bottom of that one is, save up the extra and get RB's.

Seen a few horror stories recently about Vargas ones dying.

Nevertheless, I have spoken to hexon, and they're willing to cover my shipping fees (as I'm from the uk). I guess they're trying to make a bit of a name for themselves.

The specs do not seem worth it. It would make more sense to go with a proven company like RB if you really are looking to spend relatively low amounts of money on a turbo upgrade.

How would you feel if you risked it, went with Hexon, and they did not perform as expected?

If you get these please be sure to post carnage pics when they fail.

Its a big enough risk getting something like a front lip on ebay, I'd never buy a turbo from an ebay company.

Would have been good to see a pre and post turbo dyno since we have no idea how that dyno reads. But if it's anything like a DJ or DD then it's not bad if it's only running 11.4psi...
