Opinions on this setup

Hey guys. Just wanted to see what your opinions would be on this setup.

-M3 front control arms
-M3 front sway bar
-KW V1 coils
-VMR 710 with non runflats

I love the 135i but the stock suspension really is weak from the factory. I feel like my stock 350z feels more planted and agile. I'm not planning on tracking the car, but just want that floaty and bouncy feeling to be gone. Opinions please. Thanks

That setup would work fine.

I have the E93 M3 Sway Bar, KW V2's and Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's.

My recommendation is not to skimp out on tyre choice. The difference in price between an economical tyre and a performance tyre is there for a reason. However, almost all tyres a step up from RFT tyres. I'm on my 2nd set of RE-11's and will not substitute it for anything less, these tyres are fantastic.

The V1's will do the same thing as V2's but you will not have the ability to make adjustments which is not necessarily a bad thing as the V1 comes with a pretty good setup already pre-set. If you plan to track your car get the V2's because it will come in handy.

I would do the M3 sway bar first and then look at doing the control arms later. I was planning on doing the control arms but I've put it at the bottom of my list because after the changes I've made my car feels exactly where I want it to be.

I'm not sure if the VMR 710's have perfect offsets for the 1 series, you may want to look into it a bit more as you may need to modify your fenders if you plan to lower your car with the V1's.

I would add M3 rear subframe bushings. Your car will probably bounce over bumps without them. They also add a ton of stability and the same road feel through the seat that the M3 front arms add through the steering wheel.

Thanks for the reply guys. Yah, I'm definitely not going to go cheap on the tires. I heard the subframe bushings are a bitch to install and I heard some say they aren't really needed if you aren't planning on tracking. I'll look more into them though for sure.
