Should I be hearing my shocks?
With the warmer weather I've been driving with the windows open more often than not and I've noticed that I can hear my shocks compress over bumps. It's especially noticeable over speed bumps. Is this normal?

I hear no squish, thud, zip, whoosh, sploosh, bip, bop, zoop, out of mine at all.
You should not hear them at all. Any noise you hear is from airated oil, a leaking shock. Out of the car you will hear them though. |
