Hmmm....maybe this means the 09's have a new FP, or BMW are waiting to see how many failures occur before they extend the warranty.

Yup, see my post
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=265517 So does it mean it will fix HPFP only if it fails emissions otherwise if the car is in limp mode but pass emissions you will still have to pay? |

HPFP warranty extended to 120,000 miles by BMW
Just got letter from BMW telling that warranty for HPFP gets extended. It isn't big deal for me since I am not going to keep a car longer than warranty, but for some others it could be a good relief. Certainly I will keep buying BMW. 5ser next time.

the only thing that bums me out about this is that is for '08's only. My '09 went out on me when the car had 2700 miles. I hope they extend it out to '09 as well.

Got one yesterday for the 2007 335i I traded in on my 135i. Have had my 135i for almost a month and my account on the BMW website still shows the car as being at the dealer. When I asked them why they stated they have not received the paper work from the dealer. Yet I have already received my BMWCCA membership reward check. Is BMW really this messed up?

09s are having problems too, but those 09s are last quarter 08 builds.

Got mine as well; not sure why they tied it to the emissions warranty instead of just the regular warranty. I assume it means if it breaks they will replace it for free during the stated period?

Can someone scan their letter and post it? Use MS paint or some other photo editor to blank out any personal info if you prefer. Would like to read the language of this notice.
