You are correct on the STi. Most are punished or highly modded and brought back to stock before being sold. I've owned 3 since 2005 and can say I punished all but 1. The nice thing about STi's is that they're relatively inexpensive to repair, especially compared to a BMW. The only thing that's really expensive on the STi is the brembo brakes which aren't half as good as the brembo's on the 135.

I bought my CPO 2010 135i vert with 25k miles M Sport, Premium, Cold weather packages and Boston Leather for 29,450. Best of all was the .09% financing and they put new set of tires on it.
