OE Full set BMW 135 Bridgestone runflats for sale
Guys
Having just replaced my runflats, the full set is available for anyone who may need a spare set or is unlucky enough to have a flat that can't be repaired. The four of them are over at Andrew and Jimmy's shop at SouthernBM. Just contact me through them. The tyres have only done 13,000kms and have hardly any wear. Seems a shame not to find a home for them......... Let's know if any of you are interested Thanks

G'day Cozza
They are worth around $2,000 new for the set of 4, so considering that they are in mint condition, I'll be happy with $1,000 for the four of them Let's know, if you are interested. As I mentioned, they are at Andrew and Jimmy's shop at SouthernBM in Moorabbin. Both of those guys have my contact details, if you want to have a yak with me about them. Cheers

God...13,000km and in mint condition?! Your roads must be like cashmere or silk! I've done 16,000km and I've got about 2mm to the wear indicators - and I don't spin the wheels either........well......maybe once in a while...when it's wet....

Well, I'm fair dinkum! Hardly any wear at all.
Guess I only drive my car to Church on a Sunday... Seriously, these tyres have worn very well.

Only 30% worn at 12,000km and also "mint" condition at 13,000km? Trust me guys, you're either not driving the car hard at all, or doing a lot of highway driving to get the kms. My 10,000km are 50% peak-hour inner city, 40% urban, 10% highway, and my rear tyres are 70-80% worn. Fronts are probably 40-50% worn.

This would be the reason for the reasonable tyre wear to date.. |

My car has done under 8000km and I am just about to go on my fourth set of tyres. Lol. The runflats are pretty low wearing tyres though. I know this because I did 4 track days with them and it was still very useable other than the left front one.

It's your use of the term "mint" in your second post that probably got people bristling. To describe a second hand item as "mint" implies that it is indistinguishable from a new item. Clearly not the case.
Anyway, good luck with the sale. I don't doubt that they can still be holding up relatively well after such mileage. I drive a 60k return trip to work each day, 40 of which is on 100kph highway and the remainder free flowing backroads. My fronts are still in "very good condition" after 16,000km. |
