VRSF vs Wagner Intercooler

Hey guys..

Anyone know if the VRSF intercooler is just as good as the Wagner?

I like the Wagner from what i've read but it might cost me double. Is it worth that much more than the VRSF?

Wagner = 650 USD + ~200USD shipping.
VRSF = 450 USD + shipping included.

$850 total vs $450 total

Anyone?

hey mate, is this the 7" VRSF intercooler or the 5" stepped intercoooler and where would you be getting it from?

You would be getting the revised version of the VRSF intercooler and this guy from e90post has some good things to say about it.

Garage List
Isn't Wagner a stepped core vs VRSF 7inch? Meaning stock fitment vs lots of trimming?

I have the Wagner. Performs great and have never had any issues. Fitment is spot on too, no trimming or hassles during install!

Better question would be VRSF vs ATM/Helix. Wagner from what I understand from looking at IAT data is barely better than the stock unit.

Peter was referring to the Evo 2 Competition intercooler which uses a highly efficient tube & fin (read costly) core. :-)

I have sold a few of these and they are a very nice solution with minimum fitment hassles even on a 135i but they are not cheap.

Cheers,

JD.
