I am going with gloss black to match my gloss CF and gloss Grill
For the corners do you just stretch and slowly stick down and move a little at a time?

for gloss black vinyl, you can not stretch too much cause the glossblack will become matt black. For gloss black on the corner, you must cut a bigger piece to cover the corner, the top trim you may need to do it in 2 pieces.

I will be attempting my go at it in the coming weeks when I get time, with a high quality black gloss vinyl to match my performance grills and gloss CF
Will take pics and update everyone!

Sounds good, be sure to post photos. If you purchased from bmwshadowline.com you should take before/after shots and send them to the shadowline site. You will get $10 back if they post them on the showroom.

+1 I will go for that kind of quality! Haha Does enough come in the roll to play with it a bit?

Yeah there is some excess. It's been a while, but from what I recall it was enough for maybe the lower portion of the windows. I wouldn't use too much more than a foot for your testing, just to be sure. I wish I kept mine cause now I want to vinyl wrap the silver on my steering wheel trim.

Okay thanks. I ordered the 4" so I have lots of room for error when cutting and laying it down. I only need 4 inches to mess around with.

I'm going to pursue the gloss black as well just because it will match the gloss black window divider piece as well as the gloss black paint on the side view mirror.

+1 I like the gloss look a lot more for my AW than the matte black look.

Put it on today and didn't like it... Took the time but I just think it looks shoddy and non professional. Might be going with trim pieces instead.

Sorry forgot to take pics before I took it off... I still have a good bit left of my 4" gloss black. Went with a 2" strip cut down the middle but application is tough.
All in all I'm too picky for this stuff!
