The preview pic doesn't seem to be in the wet.

Hopefully the weather held out for the entire time of their shoot.

He's been rather rude about some of the other Bimmers but the only M car he has actually stated a dislike for is the X5M.

Also, often he will take a controversial view of a car just to play devil's advocate or give a different viewpoint from Richard and/or James - then, after the review, when they cut back to the studio, he will tell you what he really thinks - and with BMWs it's almost never bad (apart from the styling )

He might have watched the BBC America version where they cut that part out unfortunately. They just end it with them driving off in the American version to save time.

Well the weather here has been pretty sh*t recently. Depends when they got the car. Our offices aren't far from the studio/track so the weather will have been pretty much the same as what we have had. i.e. rainy.

However, judging by the photos in this thread (with tyresmoke) it looks like they caught the weather on a good day!!! A couple of weeks ago, before all this rain, we had quite a good sunny spell.

My prediction: Richard and Jeremy will both like it and say they are considering buying it, and instantly goes to the uncool side of the cool wall!

Have not seen any adverts about the new series on BBC America yet. So hopefully they don't make us wait too long.
They have been getting better about getting to a worldwide schedule lately with their shows though.

Top Gear is huge here, we're even happy to get the watered down piece of junk BBC America airs (it's edited a LOT to get commercials to fit and a lot of the jokes don't make sense any more)

Luckily I've seen every episode in its original format thanks to Final Gear.

Clarkson loved the 135i in his review, he will most likely love the 1M even more.

JC proclaiming M3 CSL the best handling car in the world? It'd be interesting to see how the 1M will fare against this...

Actually, he didn't say that either. The CSL was JC's counter argument to Sterling Moss' choice of the best handling car he's ever driven.
