1M ECU on 135i?

The transmission re-flash with Alpina sw thread made me thinking... "can the 135i ECU be reprogrammed with the one from 1M?" Might be a stupid question but hey, it won't hurt anyone, would it?
So... what do you guys think?

With the exception of the short over-boost function, the 1 M Coupe has the same power rating as a 135i with BMW's Power Kit. Every aftermarket reflash is higher than that.

No doesn't exist in the market.

No shop is going to invest heavy time and R&D to work on this when they can just sell a flash that will produce more hp and tq.

Agree; I was thinking more in line of "save 1M ECU and flash/replace 135i ECU with it" using a toll like COBB.

ya thats not correct at all on the bmw power kit vs 1m, i will agree on a 135i you'd be much better off with all the after market kits out there.

i doubt that a 1m ecu would work in a 135 too many differences.

^^ The HP and Torque numbers on the 1M are the same as reported by BMW on the 335iS, which is to say, the same as any x35i that receives the Power Kit. The ONLY difference is that the 1M has the overboost function, bumping it up even higher for a short time period. That's it...

Granted, the 1M is the N54 engine, but so are half of the 135i's out there.
