The MadDad is about as JDM as I think most of us can stand. It and other aftermarket systems do what you mention, they are angled to decrease bends. But then they angle the tips so they don't exit angled.

i'd rock it with supporting mods as previously stated.... on a stock looking car, no. coming from the lexus/supra community, i loved starting at the back of supras, is300s, sc300s, and even my own sc300 with its hks hi-power catback

Im sure that if you wish to go that way then you might wanna check out Ractive exhaust systems, theyve alway had pretty clean looking exhausts.
Just depends on the ammount of cash u wanna spend. I know that almost every little thing you wanna do to these cars tends to cost an arm and a leg just cuz of the roundel logo. Most of the mods id like to do will be pretty pricey.
