Thumbs up -new!!!- Afe Stage 2 Intake For N55

We are now taking PRE-ORDERS for the new aFe Magnum Force Stage 2 Air Intake System for the 2011 BMW N55!
This intake system is available in both Pro 5R, P/N: 54-11912 and Pro DRY S, P/N: 51-11912

This Stage 2 cold air intake system produces 17 max horsepower, 23lbs. x ft. torque and out-flowed the factory intake by 44% on the awesome BMW N55 E90, E92 and E93. This system includes a durable 16 gauge, powder-coated heat shield; this air intake system features a washable/reusable conical Pro 5R air filter for maximum flow. This intake system also features a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. The one-piece heat shield requires little or no assembly and the filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.

**System will ship in April 2011**

PM or CALL 480 966 3040 ext 228 for best pricing!

Been looking at 335i N55 engine bay pictures and comparing them to 135i N55 Pictures and they seem identical except for their intake snorkel system the 335i's seems thinner than that of the 135i, however both use the same stock airbox. So that means the snorkels would taper down to the same size to fit onto the inlet of the intake box.

But the only question is, is the 135i intake snorkel the same length as the 335i. if so the afe should fit on the 135i the same as the 335i as setup looks the same. here are pics of the engine bay followed by exploded parts of the engines from REALOEMS site.

what you guys think?

Hopefully soon, my car will be in the AFE shop to confirm fitment on the 135 N55. I'll let the community know how it goes!

Have they confirmed a time for you to test fitment? I already placed an order as i think it should fit perfectly fine.

What's the difference between the Pro 5R and Pro DRY S?
Is the "DRY S" a Dryflow filter?

Now this one is A LOT better looking than the Injen one. But as it was said in the Injen thread, Im assuming this would also void your warranty, right??? Also, would a CAI throw a code as well?

That being said, this is one good looking intake. Anymore info on it? 135i fitment, price, etc?
