FINALLY... K1 Speed in Torrance is open & it's awesome.
Let's see who is interested in a Sunday afternoon meet... May 17?

Respond here if you can make May 17, 2 p.m. They have a parking lot that can easily accommodate a couple dozen 1s.

I will try to get us discounts!!! That should be an extra incentive. Since this location just opened, the karts are new along with new helmets (and cotton head socks).

For those who've never go-karted before, we can do an intro session for them, showing the proper lines and braking points. My friend and I have enough kart experience at the Torrance K1 track to be very helpful!

They have SEVERAL big screen LCD TVs there and will show the LAKERS game. If HOUSTON wins, you'll be glad you were spending your time go-karting!

BTW, let's still meet at 2 p.m. I'll be there 10 minutes early. There will be another party racing (which we can watch), so our group can register and begin driving at 3 p.m.
