Wiper motor pulse
When at a stop with brake and clutch all the way in does anyone else feel a pulse in the peddles when the wiper blade motor activates ?

Yes. Been there from the first 1ers back in 04.
At the time no one knew whether it was simply a vibration through the firewall, or engine electrical load causing vacuum pressure drops. Either way, nothing wrong with your car.

I must be missing something. I thought '08 was "Year 1 of the 1." So, is the 1 Series just new to the States?

The coupe is new worldwide, but the 3 door and 5 door matches (which are not even available in North America) have existed since 2004 in other markets.

I can feel a pulse in the clutch even when the wiper is not on. If I press the clutch all the way down it goes away but otherwise I can feel it all the time. Normal?
