BMW Performance Suspension question

Hi all,

I have an issue after installing performance suspension kit. I found that the rear right suspension is 2cm lower than rear left. Is this normal?
Front suspension has no such problem at all. Hope anyone can help me out on this issue. Thank you.

Good on you. I called the dealer today regarding this issue, and he said it is normal and told me no need to worry.... That why I want to know is that TRUE from what the dealer told me..

It should be even. The suspension settles after few miles on test drive, then they should do wheel alignment.

Car feels soooooo much better after the Perf Suspension, big reduction in under steer and body roll
Agree, it is much much better than original setting.

Maybe later will find a place / road that really level to check the drop again.

OP - I think something is wrong. Actually the RR sits the highest on most 135i's. Should be less than one cm though. Here is what I measured with my winter tires. I should really measure my car now with my 225/255's setup.

BMW 135i ride height measurements

With my WINTER tires on the car!

BMW V-Speiche 141 auf Goodyear Eagle GW3 Runflat 205/50 R17 89H 7j x17” BMW alloys.

I measured the ride height from the center line of each wheel. From the concrete garage floor until the edge of the fender/quarter panel.

LF = 65.1 cm RF = 65.2 cm
LR = 64.2 cm RR = 64.8 cm

When i installed my suspension, my drivers side rear never properly seated in the bottom ball joint and i started to get a clunking sound. I took the rear suspension apart, reseated everything and suddenly it slid into place properly and everything has been great since.

If the suspension did not seat correctly in the ball joint, you could be higher on one side.

Here is the reading of mine.

LR = ~65cm
RR = ~63cm

They are with 18" rims

Comparing to the figures that you provided. It should be something done wrong when installing the kit.

I'm doing that in HK, it cost me about HK$17,500, including parts, labor and aligment.

I paid $1050 in February and $350 for install.

LF 63.8
RF 63.4

LR 64.5
RR 64.6

Stock wheels with OEM RFTs

I am not sure how level my garage is and I know that this makes a big difference.
