Hearing a whine like sound, taking car in Monday

I am starting to hear what it sounds like a high pitch "air like" noise coming from the AC vents area even when AC is off as I drive the car or if the car is in Park and engine running.
Called dealer and booked an appointment for Monday so i can get a loaner but does anyone know what this could be?

Input is very appreciated.

Service advisor called me back and said it might be the auxiliary fan kicking in because of the heat but now that I'm focusing more on it it happens more at startup then later. Got an appointment early morning Monday, will see.
BMW OF AUSTIN has been super great with me and they are nice to deal with. Let's see what kinda loaner I'm getting this time.

Also,
The power steering cap is seeping and they said it's common and they will replace the seal for sure unless something else is happening.

Wouldn't that cause turbo lag or loss of power? I'm not experiencing any of this I also uninstalled the Cobb AP.

Dropped car off after spending quite a bit of time with the service advisor and the shop foreman, here is what they are going to do:

1- Check for leaks
2- Check tensioner
3- test drive when very hot outside

There are other small issues I brought up like little pops from dash and another from the suspension as well so they will work on them.

I asked if I could drive a 128 as a loaner and they gave me one, all I can say is, I love my 135!!!

Got the car back. Everything seems fine so far.
The "whine" was normal as it's a secondary fan that comes on during excessive heat.
The trim was all put back together with some felt between pieces.
Suspension retorqued.
We are waiting on a new center console from Germany as they are on back order.
Driving the car without the Cobb AP is not all bad. Will see if I re-install it.
The dealer was super nice with this experience. My SA advised me to do more oil changes if I plan on keeping my car for a while.

How often do you have your oil changed currently?

Every 4-6k miles might go to 7000 max. There is a lot of heat in TX, the car is Turbo-charged and I have the Cobb AP combine that with spirited driving... I need to change the oil more often. Keep in mind I bought the car with 9600 miles and done an oil change on it already, put 4000 miles so far so in the next few weeks I will be doing one for sure.
