Tranny is leaking.

Hi everyone today i was changing my oil and noticed that my sleeve is leaking from the trans. I have a CPO 08 135i with 36k on her. Would this be covered by CPO warranty. My maintenance warranty just ended in feb. Afraid that the dealer will throw me a ridiculous bill.

The CPO warranty is good for 6 years/100k from the date the vehicle was put in service (most likely the original sale date) - do you mean it's been 6 years since that date for your car? If not, then it should be covered, as the engine and transmission are part of the warranty. Where the CPO warranty falls down IMO, is that it doesn't cover things like the suspension, bulbs (including Xenon headlights), sound system, convertible top, etc.

Thanks. But yeah the car is a 08 and it has not been 6 years yet. I was just wondering do they do the job for free or is there some type of deductible i have to pay.

Depending on if they have to drop the transmission to fix the problem, you might want them to replace a couple of items while they are in there - like the main seal between the engine and transmission. It's always a good idea to replace anything that might have aged or worn - you would only pay for parts, not labor. But again, I really don't know the parts/problem you are describing, and what the repair involves.

Should I take my AA bov kit off before I take it in to the dealer. I doubt they would have to look under the hood if its the tranny that's the issue.
