Ugh .... my luck has been terrible for the past couple of days.

First I got a good sized scratch on gf's car's rear bumper while parallel parking, from the license plate of the car behind me, this was the first time I ever even touched the car behind me while paralle parking.

I then managed to get a bunch of swirls on my 330's doors while doing a rushed wash.

Then just tonight, coming back from a friend's Thanksgiving party, I managed to scrape my right front wheel and get a 1cm scratch on the lip where the rim meets the tire, because I parked way too close to the curb trying to avoid being scratched by passing cars (it was a narrow street and it was PACKED with guest cars, there was more than 50 people inside his house). I forgot that I had turned my wheel outwards so I gave a little pull to the left while trying to take off and that was it, I almost blew up.

It got very very close to my personal limit, 3 mistakes that I had never made before all happening within a week. The good news is that I seem to have found a good wheel repair shop that can make my wheel new again http://boxsters.addr.com/wheel_repair.htm. And I already ordered an entire line-up of higher grade detailing products and am gonna do everything I can to take out those swirls. Gf's not caring about her scratch saying it's too small to notice but it still hurts me deeply, can't believe how I could have been so careless that I backed into the car behind me, GOD!

you are destined to have a great weekend. all the above will be fixed because you are taking action to fix them.

good on you for finding the wheel repaired and top class car care products.

im sure if your wonderful gf would want her car fixed, you would find a top repair shop.

so did your gf get angry with you? probably not, hey. she loves you and knew it was a mistake. what a wonderful gf you have. congratulations.

all the best to both of you.

Well, if things do come in three's, then you should be over the bad luck streak now. Sorry to hear about the troubles! My wife did the exact same thing to one of the wheels on the E91... it happens.

Dude, these are all minor issues. I live in Chicago, a commuter train going 70 mph demolished a dozen cars the other night. Its unbelieavble, but there were no fatalities. Now that's having a bad day.

Its all about your perspective. If its your daily driver, there is no avoiding these issues.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

I just always try to be careful, if it's not my fault then I wouldn't feel too bad because there was no way to avoid it. But when it's my fault I feel pretty bad.

But it's all good, after a good night's sleep I feel way better now, gonna get what can be fixed fixed and remember to be careful next time.
