Hmm, I wonder if these Dunlops are better performing than the RE050s. If so, I got shafted.

Great question, I took mine off at the time of delivery, so I don't know but am very curious.

Under the accessories on BMW's main page (Owners Circle), they list a Mobility Kit for the 135i. Wonder if this is for people going for non RFTs or it is indeed a standard feature on new builds...

Hate the RFTs. Noisy, bouncy, and at the end of the day, they serve little purpose. Good luck trying to find a tire with this fitment in stock if you get stranded ourside a metro area... No one carries it, even some dealers don't have it in stock.

Thinking of upgrading to 225/40/18s and 255/35/18s PS2s or something of that nature. The rims can handle an extra 10mm of tire, and surely more meat is needed both up front and in the rear. I def am of the opinion BMW under-tired the 135i in stock form...

I would rather have the bidgestones, the dunlops are pretty shitty tires from what I have found online and that they wear out in 12k miles.

Had these remounted today (took off the Dunlop Winter Sport 3D). These new tires are significantly louder and the ride is definitely more....rigid. Seems like BMW is shipping more 135's with these tires? I'm hoping that they're not as bad as the Tire Rack reviews say they are.

Had the Bridgestone run-craps reinstalled last week and the it's hard to believe a snow tire (Winter Sport 3D) was better than these things. I'll just use em up and throw em out. It's disappointing that BMW is still pushing this garbage.

Eh, my RE050s aren't that bad. It is okay for daily driving as these tires aren't that loud. I remember when I had some Barum Bravuris tires on my WRX, my god, those things were so loud you can't even have a conversation in the car.

Wish I could buy new non-runcraps. I have a choice to make. Remount my Bridgestones on good summer wheels. Or buy new tires and not get wheels to mount them on. Unfortunatly, I think i've made my decision.

I can't stand the RFTs and going to Michelin Pilots in a week. How much do the stockers go for, thinking of putting them up on Craig's List. Gonna go for wider tires while at it (225/255), and that will increase the profile just by a tad which should make the ride even less choppy...
