HUD for iPhone
Hi guys,
Decided to test out an app this evening that I downloaded a while ago called Dashboard. I ended up putting it in the storage compartment facing me, then realised it reflected off the windscreen with a reversed image. So I activated "HUD" mode and placed the phone on my dash. Voila! A speed, direction, trip time and tip distance displayed on my windscreen facing me in whatever colour suits! Photos to come in a sec! But I highly recommend it for more accurate speed read outs (as we know, GPS is a hell of a lot more accurate than our speedos), especially on freeways. Daytime not so good - however i've just polished my windscreen inside and out so i'm sure it'll help.
Lag - none compared to any other GPS on the market. It's accurate as hell. |
