My driver side mirror cap is loose
My driver side mirror cap (front side of mirror) is loose. I noticed this while I was cleaning my car today, and I am afraid this thing will fall off my car. How are these secured? is it glue or are there clips? I want to fix this asap!
Thanks! |

Take it of by just puling it to the front of the car. There you will see 4 clips one of them might not sit in the place (had the same case). It is a bit difficult to put the clips in to their place. Maybe removing mirror glass will help.

The best way is by using some kind of suction cup with a ring that you can pull on. That way, you can pull from the center of the glass rather than trying to pry the edges, which can cause flexing and breaking.
Such as this: http://www.amazon.com/Vacuum-Suction...0534652&sr=8-2 |
