Debadging
I did a search and found no info on how to do it, I assume it is just tape/ adhesive holding the 135i insignia on. Any help on the procedure? Ive always preferred the cleaner look and am tired of waxing around it. Thanks

There's a shadow emblem DIY that covers everything.

I'm still at a loss of why people de-badge.
I'm proud I have a 135i. Not like I can take it off and make people believe I have a better car. miiipilot

Debadging is not always an attempt to be a poser and fool people. It is easier to detail the car and some prefer the less cluttered look.

Exactly my reasons, I have nearly every car that I care about debadged to a point. I "personally" also feel the 135i badge cheapens up the look of the car. I'm 48 years old and really am not concerned if people are confused by what car I drive. I'm not in the "stealth" mode looking and preying on unsuspecting imports to beat up on, I just prefer the look. Thats what makes this country great, I can debadge and you don't have too based on personal taste. Now taking off the Roundel....thats just plain wrong

Corner badges interrupt the bi-lateral symmetry that the rest of the car exudes. Everything that's on the left side of the car is a mirror image of what's on the right. It's one of the only things on the exterior that clashes with that design pattern-

I ordered mine 'badge delete' from the factory.
Like others have said, I prefer the cleaner look, and I also prefer the stealthier look, given that I sometimes have to leave the car in some dodgy parts of London. Here in the UK, a 135 is relatively rare, given that probably 80% or more of 1er Coupe's on the road are diesel engined.

Took a hairdryer to it for about 20 sec. Twisted it back and forth and it came right off. My car is brand new only has 1 k miles on her so I just waxed where the 135i was and it was clean.
It looks so much better. I have the shadow line badge I was going to put on but once I seen how fresh and clean it made her A$$ look I couldn't put a badge back on. As far as thinking about if someone else thought it was a 128i I wouldn't care I know what I have.
