Yes, welcome fellow islander, you should have at least 3 fellow members: Nemo, 168, and myself, think we all are in Oahu. I am myself doing a Muinch pickup in November of a 330i, currently have a e46 330i. Love that drive up Tantilus/Roundtop, originally from the mainland so with a car like this I kinda miss opening it up on a nice long twisty road Anyways enjoy your ride and let us know how you like it.

Peace

i just moved to oahu 3 weeks ago from chicago, a huge change but i'm loving it! your munich pickup sounds like so much fun. i visited the bmw factory back in high school and it was the best part of the entire trip! the museum there is just sick! make sure you take lots of pics and post them here.

Hi Nimo, thanks for the warm welcome. I'm new to the island so just getting a feel for things. Are you a member of hawaii bmwcca? Looks like a neat group of people with some interesting events coming up.

Video game eh? Which platform & what's it called? The tantalus/roundtop drive can really be a nice setting for a game like Initial-D. Hopefully the game will include parts of Hana hwy as well.

E90HI,

Another Intial D fan, don't let the others know. Have you seen the Intial-D chinese movie yet? I am waiting for the bootleg. I used to have several hachis many years ago. BTW, if you hang around tantalus and feel spirited, watch out for the bacon.

About the game,
http://the-magicbox.com/0505/game050513e3.shtml

Haven't heard of BMWCCA or any other BMW clubs in Hawaii.
Then again, I was once a 4wheeler and before that a Chevy V8 guy and before that an Oldsmoblie Rocket guy. And in between some rice and volks. With Hawaii's gas price, closing of trails and cracking down on speeding, it was time to find another hobby.

How did you get the movie? PM me if you want to share. I was just interested in the drifting. I do understand most HK movies started to suck starting 10 years ago.
