Chicagoland 1-Series Fans
I wanted to share something cool with you guys. I work a minute away from a BMW NA office in Schaumburg, IL and I occassionally drive in the parking lot and see what's in there that might not be released yet in the States. Low and behold, there is a Titanium Silver 135i, Sedona Red 135i, and a de-badged, taped up, and de-roundel-ed Sedona Red 128i convertible. If you're in the area and want to examine the car's exterior up close, check it out. Luckily, I drive a MINI so I blend in with the other cars in the lot.
My impressions remain positive (other than that Sedona Red doesn't look anything like the photos). BMW of North America Inc 498 Commerce Dr, Schaumburg, IL |

Don't do it. I makes the wait 10x worse. I got see bryan@mwerks' Alpine White 135i this last weekend. I tried to drive off with the car LOL.
The car in Alpine white w/Black interior in person looks incredible. There is no doubt that I chose the right color.

YAH, Alpine is SWEET
I got there about 11:30am. The Alpine white with black leather with aluminum trim looked GREAT! And the sport seats, steering wheel made me crazy

So i drove to the place around 7:30PM and I saw the rides. Dang they looked good. There were about 4-5 of them I think. It was really dark, and I wanted to get out and take a picture, but I felt like such a shady criminal. (I was on my way to the gym and all i had was black pants and black sweatshirt). So i'll wait till tomorrow and grab some shots.

I've seen Sedona Red at the auto show (bright lights) and at the BMW office parking lot (dark) and either way it looks like a muted red with a tint of orange. It looks just like the (I believe) inspiration for the color... Sedona, Arizona. Google image that phrase and you'll see the desert cliffs and how they look like a muted red/orange. Based on the press pics, I would have bought Sedona Red. Based on seeing it in person, I would not.
