Something is squeaky

Help! this squeaky sound is coming from outside the car, im thinking its suspension or bushing related. I hear it from the back. Anyone have a problem like this? what would i need to replace?

Jack it up, take a look and replace whatever is making the noise.

lol, squeaky toy. Are there any bushings that fail more commonly in the 128? Im not too sure where the sound is coming from, however, I can hear it evey time I get in and out of the car. Its definitely from the rear wheels/ rear suspension area.

I'm stumped. :/

Try to post a video. Maybe put the camera on the ground and push down on the trunk.

Sway Bar bushings, Leaking seals on shocks/struts,
Suspension arm bushings, I'm sure a few other things could be possible as well. Focus on one thing at a time to eliminate possibilities.

If you're hearing it when you get in the car shocks/struts would be a good starting point.

I notice a squeak when I get in the car when the handbrake is engaged. I release the hand brake and no squeak. I just learned to live with it. But I'm planning on adjusting the brake or replacing the shoes soon anyway

The shoes on the rear parking brake have always made noise. Just the way the car is.

Similar sounding noise in my car. If I don't have the handbrake on then no squeak.

I'm betting on the rear strut as well. I've had other cars do the same thing, but only when you get in and out of the car. I've never noticed it going over bumps on the road

yes its the parking brake. Maybe if I adjust the shoes or tighten the travel distance it will fix the problem.

What did you do to fix the problem? I asked my dealer about this and they said there's nothing they can do, so I've been living with this awful squeak from the parking break.
