K & N Panel Filter

Guys

Just installed a K & N cotton panel filter bought from BMS few days ago.

Any advice or opinions compared to the stock paper panel filter?

Did not really want to go DCI direction as it is too expensive.

Thanks.

I doubt you will see any difference between any of the brands. I had the BMS drop in before I upgraded to the BMS DCI.

And the BMS DCI is only $95 - hardly expensive

Compared to the open pod filters, the panel fiter is housed in the factory airbox, should be better?

define "better"

it depends what you're after. There was a thread in the main forum where they actually tested a whole bunch of panel filters and the difference were less than nothing.
