Alpine AE

So i reinstall my Alpine AE a couple of days ago, and notice that my passenger side was really dimmer than the other (the outer ring part) - played around with the bulb while it was on and notice if i pull it out slightly the outer ring gets as bright as the driver side. any tips to get them even again? it was even b4 i rma my kit for a new one.

seem like a mis-aligned rod issue. any have any exp on this? and how to realign the rods? i have the one where its behind the cover not under wheel well.
