slow speed, and extreme lock, handling
I have my car back after a 6 month absence (long story). When driving at a crawl, the steering is very heavy, until you approach maximum lock (left or right turn) at which point the steering tends to want to increase the turn (and literally feels like it is grabbing the wheel out of your hand and increasing the tightness of the turn). Sadly, can't recall if it used to do this 6 months ago when I last drove it. At high speed, feels rock solid. Is this just a consequence of rolling resistance of a tight turn at low speed tending to increase the turn?

Get your alignment done, sounds like toe in is out....when I put my control arms on, if I turned the wheel either way more than a quarter turn and let go, it would turn all the way to lock on it's own. After alignment...my turn in is fairly aggressive due to the camber I had adjusted in, but the toe in was adjusted back to spec (it was really out) and every thing was good.
