OEM Carbon Fiber Hoods on 1er

I'd like to get your opinions on VIS Racing OEM Carbon Fiber Hood and how it compares to Seibon OEM Carbon Fiber Hood. The more I research it gets more and more confusing. Seems like JDM and E36 crowd is really happy with either one while for E90 & E92's it's iffy.
How's the fitment on 1 series? Are both of those pre-drilled for pins with holes for the windshield sprayers?
Does OEM style carbon hood even need pins??
I've heard that VIS and Seibon tends to fade within a year or two, does fading reflects on clear coat or can the hood be painted as well after got faded?
Pictures a plus, THNX

Icarbon's fit is terrible from what i've seen in person. Wouldn't waste my money on them...

I love Icarbon, definitely my top choice but the best quote I got so far is $1300shipped (what doesn't include locking pins and good paint job)
That's a high cost for hood going on DD.

I voted for Seibon, though I'm not all that familiar with VIS..

I'm having some clearcoat issues with my seibon hood.. but Berk Tech and everyone else I know who has one has never had these issues. I'm currently trying to sort out the warranty issue with the vendor I bought it from. Seems like I'm just the unlucky one because Berk's hood and trunk (1 and 2 years old respectively) look just as new as the day they were purchased, and from what I've seen on other cars, Seibon stuff holds up.

Though, the fitment is great, especially for an aftermarket hood. All CF hoods require a bit of tweaking to get them to fit perfectly, and my body shop said that the install and alignment was average to easy in terms of what they've experienced with other aftermarket hoods.

Then the person who installed it didnt know how to align it

Dozens of people on here with their hoods/trunks and NO ONE has complained about fitment.
