Best Xenons? Who has them?
Are those Angel Eyes any good? I don't want to rice my 128 out, I just want decent headlights and considering the right one is starting to die out, I'm considering Xenons. I'm not interested in spending over $50 either... I'd like a decent light blue, sleek modern look. Thanks!

Well I'm not looking to drop a bit of money on Angel eyes, my light is just out and I'd like to find a decent replacement that won't be over $100 for a light.

Is this about xenons for your angel eyes?
Edit: why do we even call them angel eyes. Do angels have four eyes? I just entered your mind.

Don't mod your angel eyes with HIDs. They will discolor the rings over time, search around for examples.
BMW calls angels 'corona rings' I'm not sure where AEs were coined. As for putting HIDs in your headlight... Do you have factory xenons? Yes: HID kits will not be compatible. BMW sells a blue tint bulb for xenon housings, have a look through Real OEM using your vin to find the part numbers No: don't do it. Adding an HID bulb to a halogen housing will: A. scatter the light in a way it was not designed, blinding oncoming traffic. B. Focus light in a way it was not designed to do. For example your headlights once illuminated the road but now illuminate the ditch or center line. If you want xenons or HIDs you need to get a new headlight housing, or at least get a projector housing to retrofit

Once again, I don't currently have Angel eyes... Also they're currently COMPLETELY Stock, I'd just want decent Xenons that would have a slight blue tint to them making them look elegant and modern.

We understand they are stock. Simpler question. When you had your headlights on were the bulbs yellowish or bluish white??

Do they look like this? These are xenon housings. Note the outer bulb has a grey 'ring' around it and clear inner circle
If you have halogen and just want a blue look, go to a local auto parts store and buy some 6000K halogen replacement bulbs from Sylvania

Ok, you have two options, you can either buy the yellowish halogen bulb again for an easy fix with great light output. Or you can buy HID bulbs, but the process is more involved than simply switching them out.
You start with this: Then you take the headlights apart: Then you mount a projector: Finally you are ready to install HID bulb: If you just install the HID bulb without my process, then you end up with this:

Well if I want your look, How much do you think it'd cost? Putting them in shouldn't be too much of an issue, it's just finding the right bulb to look decent without breaking the bank..

But my setup was $300 for everything. Edit: I would bet my life they have a solution for you that won't break the bank.

I know I won't see you on the road (or at least it's very unlikely) but please please please!!!! do not do it "half assed" and look like the last pic from Gray_Panther's post. Do everyone a favor and do it right. Seriously, those crappy "HID" work are literally an eye sore when driving in front of them. If you do end up doing it (for some odd reason), please keep it within the between white or yellow...any other color will just make it worse.

If you need to replace your bulb and want a hid kit with 50 bucks to spend then f it. Buy a replacement bulb from advance auto and save up your money for a month or two so you get a decent ~100$ hid kit. And no you don't have to bake the headlight, drill a hole in the back of that assembly and seal the new wiring out the back of that bish. And if you do keep da output 6k or unda or da juant gon look too mean fo da streets
But f all that Bruh trade it in fo a 35
