Thank you to Ezekiel Wheeler for the shoot and spread in your April 2012 issue. Despite him being a McLaren F1 fan and me being a Red Bull Racing loonie we hit it up very nicely and got together for a late night shoot and this was it.

The blog / magazine is great to read and following them on instagram always brings fresh and fun photography!

good eyes correct!!! those are the prototype eibach lowering springs he sent me home with while they start manufacturing their production springs and sways. final production springs will be 1/4 inch lower up front he said (rear is dead on perfect). one thing i noted is on with the eibachs the full lock grind that was part of the H&R setup completely went away.

lots of woosh woosh coupled with more shhhhhs from the after market DVs
i never dyoned every bolt on mods so i am not sure how each affects overall power...the filters do get very dirty quick (had them for 4 months, will have to take them out for a wash for MFEST)

talked to MDORPHIN about this, the flatter it is the less drag it will produce so at the current angle we had it paps, the wing provides maximum downforce however it will reduce top speed. if you look at the angle of the M3 GTS wing it is essentially sitting flat

Just wondering: when the boot is fully openened, does the wing touch the rear windscreen at a certain angle? Seemed to be a close call on one of your pictures (see below).

i had the same concern (i go to costco a lot and i cant have that wing grinding down my rear window) and i txted felix one day and his answer was : you donkey no it doesnt ha ha ha and he is correct, the trunk fully opened leaves about 4-5 inches to the rear windscreen (see additional pic below)
