1M coupe tires type? RFT?

I've seen no mention of it yet, so it begs the question: Will these tires on the 1M be runflats (like the 135i), or non-runflats (like the M3)?

All of the test and photo cars have been on Michelin PS2's, which are what the E9x M3 comes on. Technically, they do offer an RFT version of the PS2, but we can all hope it won't have them.

I think Red Bread assumption is right most likely will come with PS2 RFT and there is no room to carry a spare on the trunk, cost cutting for BMW.

I doubt it will have run flats. Does anyone know if the x5m has run flats?

X5M and X6M have runflats. They are also the only M with runflats.

Z4M and M3 both come with no spare and a mobility kit we can only hope the 1M is similar.

Same was true of the Z3M, E39 M5 and E60 M5. I think we're relatively safe in assuming that the 1M will not have RFT's.

I agree no way the 1M will have run flats. If you get a flat, call for the tow truck and leave the goo in the trunk.
