I think the red/black on montego may hurt people's eyes. Try adding a montego-esk background instead of the white and see what you think. You may want some lighter colors in there given the dark nature of your car.

Oh, I was under the impression that the numbers would be cut out like they were in the pic of rachel's car. Is that not the case? Is it truly a rectangular magnet that we slap on the side that has a background color? I expected the white to be not present, and the thick black border would be a buffer against the bright red, but there would still be enough contrast against the montego to be legible.

No, you are right. They should be cut out like Rachel as far as I know. It will look something like this when applied to your car (obviously its hard to get the metallic aspect).

If you like it then it, then definitely get it.

Correct, they will but cut out like Rachel's car but the point Art is making is that those colors don't really mesh well and it might not looks like you are picturing.
Red border, drop shadow, or accents would probably look good but the whole numbers in red might not turn out as well as you think.

People used them Sunday at the SVT autocross (check my sig for pictures). I have yours in my backseat....

Ah, gotcha. I ran out of time to work on it and will have to a little bit later. Is sign-a-rama's offer still valid? how long do I have to pick out not-crappy colors?

Yep EVO phase 1 on Sunday. I need to get my dose of autoX since I will miss the Memorial day autoX event. I am hoping to get a lot out it, but don't know really what to expect.
