2008 EPA sticker

can someone with a 2008 128 or 135 please take a picture of their EPA sticker under the hood and PM it to me? Im trying to ship my car from germany to the states and need the sticker to put the car on a boat.

Hm not sure what sticker you're speaking of...I'm out of town until next Mon or Tues, but when I get a chance i'd be happy to take a look. What does the sticker look like?

EZ... have your unit fax the shipper an exemption form. Often times when you have body work or paint work done... and the EPA compliance decals are gone... your UNIT can fill out an exemption for you. I think also the US customs office on base can help you out.

I think you can also go thru BMW shipping service instead of DoD. Let me know if you need more help.

Im on my way to talk to pentagon car sales right now to see what my options are. Im not the original owner though. Ill keep you posted

I am guessing it is attached to the original intake or attached to the item that was replaced by the cold air scoops?

Or some other such scenario?

EZ... the decal/sticker is on the hood, when you open it, down near the wipers/windshield area on the hood.

Like I said... your "unit" has an exemption form that you can fax(or take)to your shipper to exempt you from this requirement from the shipper.

Has your hood been replaced or painted?
