1M GruppeM intake

Hi all,

I just bought the Akra evolution exhaust and now I looking for an intake upgrade to go ahead with ECU remap.

Does anyone here have any thoughts about the GruppeM?

A few member should have it. I assume it is more popular in Singapur, Hong Kong and maybe in Australia too, since the base car itself is much more expensive in those countries and owners don't mind spending a few thousand Dollars for an intake.

But then 1M was very expensive in Brazil too

Also nice M car garage!

I love my GruppeM - based on how it looks

Stratus650 bought one for his "special" wrapped 1M. Here are my pics of his car when we met in Switzerland this last fall. I seem to recall he bought the CF GruppeM intake for around $2K USd from a place in Australia. Then GruppeM in Japan builds it to order. They sent Stratus weekly updates with pics of the entire CF build process. It took a few months from what I recall. Stratus said it was totally worth it. I have to agree, this intake was simply gorgeous!!

Has anyone actually done a dyno with this intake? Or any intake, for that matter? Curious what sort of gains can be had...

Maybe we can a arrange a group buy? I will be down for one of these babies, if price is around 1.3 - 1.5K, but 2K is way too much...

Unfortunately Dinan didn't really make a good solution for the 1M, there work around is to delete the aux radiator, less than desirable solution for me.
