Vinyl brake ///M stickers

Promised I'll post some pics once I got to slap these. I got inspired from Aussies beautiful AW 1///M, though I should mention I got these from a different seller (Ebayer in good standing from the UK). Got the set within a week of ordering, good job by the Royal Post.

What you get in the purchase is 2 sets of 4 stickers each, one set smaller than the other. The pics you see here are with the smaller set as I didn't want it to look too gaudy, plus in the back especially there is not much real estate to place the bigger ones. But you can easily do the larger set up front.

Thx. You can tell from the first pic the smaller set is made better (the tricolor stripes align better). I was sweating what is the proper direction of the decal, so went with my gut feeling. After I was done I was happy to see it is in the same was as on the ceramic brakes on the new M6 as unveiled in Geneva this week

I planned on only doing the front calipers since those rears are tiny.

Look nice but they'll be toast the first time you start really using those brakes.

Exactly my thoughts. I don't think there is any type of vinyl or acrylic coating that can withstand any heavy braking.

^^That's the first thing I questioned the seller about and he said they can withstand very high heat and he's sold these before for this very same purpose. Guess time will only tell...

Probably, even though seller claims they'll last. Frankly I don't expect much from something that costs so little, I just needed to feed the mod bug. Heck, I may tear them out in a month just to spice things up. lol It's a sticker after all.

But looks like the all new M models are either getting the logos on the calipers from the factory or a unique color. Even now the Performance line brakes are offered in 3 colors!

The fronts look nice, not sure about the rear though. Just wondering on the lug bolts, mine are black and yours are chrome. Did you change them?

To me with the vinyl sticker i dont think it will last after few laps but with the new ///M brakes on 5 series it doesn't looks like sticker to me. it seems printed/painted on top of the brake cover it wont comes off unless u scratch it.

But hey, nicely done and very creative.
