<<New Product Alert>> Aggressor Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser
Wanting to develop a new style to the rear end of the BMW 135I, Agency Power has come out with their all new Aggressor Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser. So what separates this diffuser from others on the market? The rear strakes on the back of the diffuser have been enlarged to give the car a more aggressive race look while improving stability at higher speeds. These strakes are designed to utilized the factory underbody panels and help channel air flow out of the back of the car in an efficient manner. The full carbon fiber diffuser is a direct replacement for the factory plastic unit fitting with every OEM bolt to keep a solid seal on the rear bumper. It features a cut out with black mesh to release the heat build up by the exhaust. Since the diffuser is designed after the OEM unit, it will clear all aftermarket exhaust systems using the original style tip exit. This carbon fiber will set your car apart from the others at the track, on the road, and at the shows. Agency Power has been producing high quality carbon fiber products for years, including intake components, gauge pods, and other aerodynamic parts. Now, Agency Power has just enhanced the visual appeal of the BMW 135I to a new level!
This rear diffuser fits all OEM bumpers on the BMW 135I from 2008-2011. Retail Price - $800 Special Price - $600 Shipped Ends September 30, 2010 |

There is different types and ways of doing Carbon Fiber. This is hand laid material. Basically stretching it and the strakes make it pull. There is also prepreg. Having seen the 3D Design one, this is actually cut in sections. You can see the seams in the diffuser. The weave and parts actually look very nice in person.

Both this diffuser and the front splitters weave keeps being brought into question. This is the first article we wanted on the car for pictures and to showoff what is out there. Maybe we jumped the gun on pictures. Also this is a forum, so of course there is the opinions. Again this is hand laid. You have to stretch the material over the bends and this causes the waiviness. A little different then a hood or prepreg process.
The rear strakes of the diffuser are more aggressive then the other diffusers on the market. Hence the name, Aggressor. It needed a catch phrase. I am not telling anyone to buy this over iCarbon. What I am saying is that here is another alternative. Whats funny is people bitched, waited, and complained about lead times of 6months (I would too) so we came out with our own product. Here are some of our other carbon fiber parts and own designs to see what we do: |

If I can get into a 135i before the end of Sept. I will definitely be ordering the diffuser. Well, I might order it even if the sale is over. Very nice piece. I own my own Dynojet, so if you ever have any parts that you need anything tested by an independent source;-)

Hmm that looks like one of iCarbons V1 pieces that were vacuum assisted hand lay; I had a V1 as well. I bought the V2 when it came out and the weave was dead straight. I remember them saying it was because they now use Closed Mold VARTM (Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Moulding) like OEM BMW Carbon parts and eliminated the need to pull the fabric.

Comparing those two images there is a big difference from the iCarbon piece. The iCarbon looks like a very high quality piece and the weave pattern looks perfect. I have both seen it and had in my hands and is very impressive. Realy flexible for CF as well. The difference in manufacturing processes could be the contributing factor to the quality difference between both pieces.
