Looks absolutely fantastic! Reminds me of the rims on the etched 1M (early design study) eager to see more (side) shots.
Not sure on where the 20" skepticism is coming from? Don't larger rims generally have less tire side wall deformation, thus provide more control therefor more fun? |

I think people over exaggerate the wheel/tire size in regards to ride quality. Yes, it obviously does make it a little more firm than stock, but the suspension components made a much larger difference in ride quality. Right now I have it set very stiff so the ride is extremely harsh but I can make it softer to the point that even with the 20s it has a better ride quality than stock. |

I agree with most of what you are saying, but no matter how much you adjust the suspension on a 20" wheel you will never get near stock quality ride even with stock suspension. |

Is there any weight penalty? Looked up the 1M design study etch with the 5 spoke concave wheels, that your wheels remind me of: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=524385 Last edited by eeghie; 12-25-2011 at 04:22 AM.. |
