ExhaustMeister and PPK
If I understand correctly PPK adds what is basically a software flapper valve delete. It stays open at all times. So it makes sense ideally you would use it with Performance Exhaust, which has no valve to open or close which in turn yields constant aural pleasure.
With stock exhaust, could the ExhaustMeister force-close the flap even if PPK commands it to stay open? For those early mornings when your neighbors are still asleep. |

Golf tee mod is bypassing the valve in the muffler. PPK stands for Power Performance Kit, it's basically a factory tune. It increases boost, changes timings, speeds up the DCT, adds burbles, etc.

lolz- had to read that twice to realize you wanted to force it closed, not open which is the typical question
Don't have first hand experience with the product, but they say it allows manual control over the valve so it makes sense you could close it on demand. Shoot em an email if you want to be sure- and for $129US I'd want to be sure before forking over that money...

I see what you mean. After I disconnected the flap actuator hose, plugged it and secured in the existing hole at the back of the wheel well... the car sings at all times now... burble-burble-burbleburbleburble
Good stuff. |
