Recommended 135i track tires
Have worn out the shoulders on my 235 section MP SS square set up after about 3 track days. Any suggestions from people who have actually tracked this car as to the best replacement tire? I do like the MP SS but they have worn out quite quickly. There are many other options out there. Recommendations please?

RE-71R's are the new hottness. They are tearing up everything from autocross to circuit racing. Don't expect a real track tire to last very long. You can't have track capable traction and longevity.

The Michelin PSS is an excellent street tire. They provide awesome grip and great road comfort with minimal noise, but they don't deal with the heat associated with repeated runs at the track as well as one would hope. The Bridgestone RE-71R (which replaced the RE-11) is an excellent alternative to the PSS for tracking. The RE-71R can still be driven on the street, but they have a much lower tread wear rating than the Michelins and won't be as comfortable or as quiet. However, they will deal with the heat and on track abuse much better. Tires are all about compromise until you get another set of wheels and just keep a dedicated set for the track.
