Service Symbol

Anyone know what the symbol of 2 entwined S's over the engine means?

It means take it to some S bends and have some fun.
Look at the back of your manual. All symbols are there.

I already looked in the owner's handbook and the service book - the symbol isn't there (or I can't see it).

It must be in need of S bends then. Only logical answer I have.

Maybe take a quick pic of the icon you're getting and post it up?

^ I can't - I'm too low tech. Pretty sure its a common icon and that others who have checked service info on the OBD would have seen it before.

Its basically two S's superimposed, one slightly above the other, sitting over the bonnet of a yellow icon of the car, in the check service info menu.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing it in some literature that came with the car. As I recall, it has something to do with when you should take your car in for service.

You'd be more likely to get an accurate response if this was posted in the appropriate section.

Means your engine bay is full of snakes.

You may be able to look it up in the service section of idrive, if you have idrive that is.
