Wow, that is incredible pricing. Retail here is $4250 but we are doing them with the Performance rear rotors $2995.

The dealer I bought my car from quoted me $3500 for the kit and $1155 installed (without the perf. rear caliper + Rotor). If it wasnt so sad it would be funny.

That's very cheap!

I paid around $850USD for my standard pads/rotors (genuine) including shipping. I wish i had gone with the performance brakes

Ah, different kits for different cars, the 125i and 135i have different kits available as they have differing brackets. Interesting. Still, regardless as i said by PM, price is great, your freight quote is massively less than i was quoted though. Still, as always, cheaper than local.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, I just did an install on my car.

I was hoping to code the car myself with a VO addition, but it doesn't appear to be the case.

How did those who did a retrofit go with the programming, did you get BMW, an independent, code yourself or just not bother coding / programming it?

Thanks in advance!

$100A - Usable load increase
$102A - Reinforced brakes

These are the retrofit codes for the VO. As far as I cant tell it has no effect on any of my car's control units and there is no real advantage in adding it to the VO.....but to be sure I will code them tonight and let you know if it makes any difference.

I got the front performance brakes back in March from Turner. Iirc they were ~$900 but didnt include the proper rears as they were the 128i kit.

I got the rears about a 1-2 months ago from ECS Tuning for $100 each (ex shipping)

They were on special and I dont think they are anymore, you will have to check.

Basically they are the same calipers as 135i except yellow/gold in colour. The front rotors are drilled and slotted but the rears are stock 135i rotors.

Not worth it for the 135i.

If you are interested in getting performance parts, just keep checking tischer, turner, ecs tuning for specials. They often have great deals but shipping has become a bit of a joke now.

Thanks mate.

I will compare the prices if the BMW Performance works out to cost more, I will go down to aftermarket route.
