You THOUGHT you were set meaning that you're thinking about these now

You could still rock these 19"s no problem

I think a lot of us in places with not so great roads are a little worried about the thin sidewalls on 19" wheels.

i cannot comprehend the fascination with 18"s on our cars...

if you want a track wheel, get a track wheel... even our stock 18's on good rubber is perfectly fine for that. Get some light 17" volks, slap some compounds, and call it a day.

if you want an aesthetic upgrade (looks), then our cars NEED a 19"...there is not a single 18" rim out there that makes it look better than the stockers.

maybe it's just me

Well I went with the 19s as well. I don't think that ride will be sacrificed too much and would venture to say that a 19" wheel with non-runflats would be about the same, if not better than the stock wheels with RFT's. The guys over on e90 are running this same setup with no issues or problems with ride quality from my research.

You know, I was in the 1ers-need-18s camp but after a short while I came to the exact same conclusion. 1er wells are made for 19s.

It all comes down to personal preference in the end really. Some like 19"s, go for 19"s; some like 18"s, go for 18"s.

Hey quick question. So, would a offset of +48 in the rear be better for looks or would it rub?

It won't rub depending on the tire size you're running and if you're lowered or not or planning to lower.

Ok I pulled the trigger on a set of gunmetal F14 for my AW. Let's see if 8-10 days is a reality. I seem to remember silverbullet waiting quite a while for his set.

I am pairing these with a Eibach/Koni FSD combo hoping that my fillings stay in my teeth when I hit the first pothole.

That is a great shock / spring combo that you plan on running. Your ride will be fine, you have my word

Thank you for your business

Alright, lets say I'm lowered on the BMW PS, what offsets/tire sizes should I be ordering here?

And I know, tire brands differ on actually size, just trying to get a ballpark idea.

I shouldn't be concerned with any rubbing up front with the following setup right? Also 48 in the front isn't an option?
19x8.5 ET46 Front; 19x9.0 ET50
Front: 225/35R19
Rear: 255/30R19

it'd be so much more enticing in 18" the pin stripe looks good though!

You will be my guinea pig on these. I was really wanting to do the storm trooper forgelines that Turner is doing, but I'm having a hard time getting past the price tag for them. I'd love to see these in silver on AW, but gunmetal will be fine
