Great pics again Advevo. Thanks.
This car is going to look so good. Much better than the E92 in my opinion, much more 'BMW'. Advevo are you the marketing guy at BMW in charge of throwing pics on US forums to excite enthusiasts? |

LOL no
I am from holland i run a Indoor karting Track. I am into racing i drive the dutch 130i cup and the dutch supercar challenge with e46 GTR with 460hp v8. I just like the 1 series very much. I have a 130i 3 door version with a LSD and some racing shocks and recaro race seat. I like the driving dynamics very much of the 1er. Most bmw are too big and to heavy. the 1er is the drivers car from bmw. I like the coupe look very much. I hope bmw brings an affordable M version of it. So no i don t work for bmw. I would like to work for bmw though but then as a racing driver in the WTCC And build a 1er WTCC car and race it all day long. |

I really hope they are going to build a M version with a new 6 cylinders, but the fact that the 135i is going to have brembo brakes (apparently), M sport, 300hp make me think that it's probably going to be the high end model. But we'll see. |

I much prefer the rear's simpler, classier 5-spokes to the front's. The fronts are decent but the rears remind me of a classic Ferrari's 5-spokes. The interior looks really nice and I love the red leather. The shorter shift knob looks to work a lot better than the taller knobs of the E90 and E92. Additionally, those front brake calipers look too big to be single pistons. They look have to two pistons.

Give me even closer pictures and I'll be licking them! lol These look really hot! But I'm dying to see the back of the car! And what's up with that rear spoiler? It's not on every car we've seen... is it 135i only? or is it something even more special than that? No, it can't be something more special than the 135i with those tyres and brakes. Maybe it's part of the M-Sport pack... |

Nice... I've had 5 BMWs with red leather (E30 325is, E30 M3, E36/7 Z3 2.3, E46 323Ci, & E46 330Ci.) The E90 is the first BMW that I have had with black leather so my next new BMW may have red leather again.
Note the different wheels on this car. Double spokes. Edit: I have experienced that is fairly difficult to resale (private party) a BMW with red leather. Red leather is certainly an acquired taste. |

1) Is that intercooler I see up front?
2) I see I-drive, I thought 1 series wont be getting it? 3) Awesome interior (subtract I-drive) and very awesome looking sport supportive (see how deep the bolsters are) leather seats.. 4) Will 1 series have rear LSD? That would be great.. |

Agree 100% about the wheels...the regular 5 spokes on the back are perfectly tailored for the car.
It's the interior shot that has got me going. I really like the bolsters on the seats- that comfort comes in handy even if you're just running a short trip. Great shifter. Logical placement of i-driver, and the nice little touches like the chrome surround on the cup holder. It's as if everywhere you look on the car there's detail and attention. btw...Advevo, is that you in the window's reflection? |

I don't think it will different from the hatches, but if it was that would be another cool touch to separate it from the hatches

These are the best pics yet. Advevo, you're the man!
It looks like it's parked next to an A4 station wagon and the size of it looks comparable to the A4 so my fears of a really small, unsubstantial car are somewhat allayed. It also looks much more organic in these pictures than in previous pictures, especially that rear 3/4 picture of the rear fender. Not quite as sexy as the Cayman Coupe rear fenders but the same sort of idea. The scale is definitely tipping in favor of this over an E46 coupe. And of course the red leather.. not all over just the seats, which is perfect. I don't want to jinx it by saying it, but this has the potential to be the perfect BMW. |

What is a total rip is the quality of the graphics in every application- it looks bargain basement...low brightness screen that easily washes out in daylight...pre-DonkeyKong graphics, and very un-BMW when compared to similar systems on Lexus & Acura...hell, even Toyotas and Hondas. I recently drove a 2007 328 sedan loaner from my dealer and from what I could tell, it still looks and feels cheap. I don't know what the cost is from the options menu...but it's not on my list of got-to-have's until there's a complete upgrade which is way overdue. Just my 2cents. |
