Advevo - weren't you the guy with the e46M3 who was worried about drifting the 1M. ??? I remember something about you wondering IF the turbos would kill the ability to trow teh car sidewas in mid turn. Clearly this is NOT a problem for the 1M.
I wonder how many miles/kilometers ppl wil get out of their rear tires on a 1M. Some 135i guys only get 9K miles out of the rear! Dackel |

It is an absolute hoot on the track and an addictive plaything on your favorite twisty back road. "

Advevo, I know initially you had reservation on turbo lag / throttle response. Now with the car in hand, what's your post review of the car?
For everyone else, Advevo is a race driver, don't try this at home.

Not "only" that, he's a drift instructor too and a real petrol head at that. This is utter and complete car control at it's best. Makes me start my day with a smile on my face! Again.

Wet public road plenty of trees, ditches, no side-barriers and a 1M with DSC off. So "Plan B" is no option. Man, you got to trust your excellent driving skills for any such undertakings. Kudoes to you.
If you'd challenge me for that, I will either chicken out or you can post the video of my attempt on YouTube with a title "1M crash on public road". So I'll live with the "don't try this at home" advice. |

Oh my God ...... wet roads, lots of trees and still "smooth" transitions - I love the control of the drifts but boy, not sure if I could focus on the road versus the trees. Great skills .... I will stick to like an airport runway or a big warehouse parking lot
Well done! |

Advevo, another amazing video! Love all your drifts. No turbo lag then? Did you have your M button on or off? Mine is coming hopefully Saturday! Should arrive to the dealership sometime tomorrow.

If it was me i would not settle for CGI Yeah i have used the sport button. I have the idea that with sport on, the turbo s react a little bit faster. That s what you need in a drift. The fastest throttle input as possible. That gives more control. |
