Semi OT: TT-RS US Pricing $56,850 (pre-destination)
Looks like power for the US was indeed bumped up by 20hp as speculated (to 360). Still though, $10K over the 1///M is substantial.

While I have been a big fan of Audi, the TT has always left me cold. It's too pretty and cute to be taken seriously. the RS version will be very capable and potent but I would have been more tempted by the RS3.
No doubt the TT-RS will dust the 1M in a drag race, but I'm pretty sure it will be a different story on a track. As TopGear Mag said in their recent comparo of the 1M v RS3 (same engine as TT-RS): "... forget 3.7, settle for 4.5"

I'm a huge Audi fan but until they move their engines behind the front axle, color me uninterested. Nevermind the fact I'm looking at a Cayman S when you hit that sort of price point before options.

Will the TT-RS have a limited production run like the 1M?
Seems like the price is a bit too steep even though that is a great car. ... I wonder though if it will stand out on the street or just look like any other TT |

Great car perofrmance... not so great price tag. Audis have all been plagued by skyrocketing prices in the last 10 years... No bene.
